I’ve never been a runner! Never liked it let alone ran more than I was forced to in PE. I even quit my highschool basketball team because there was so much running. Fast forward to 39 years old, being in decent shape and having fun with OCR events. My sister wanted to partner in a fitness competition that included a lot of running. I Run Ultras.

I had been running for a few years and knew I needed to take it up a notch. I always thought more was better, but I only had so much to give. Chris reorganized my running time to be productive. Don’t Just Run Run Fluent

This program will change your running in ways you didn’t know possible. I started mocking Coach Chris’s workouts and felt the gains so I decided to give it a go! I was an okay runner prior to Run Fluent, but as I adapt to the program everything just comes easier with much less aches & pains. I 110% recommend Run Fluent!!

Top running coach for a fraction of the price

Chris is a great running coach. I have been working with him for a month and have already seen a great improvement in my speed and conditioning. I have set my 5k and 10k personal records in the last two weeks with his coaching plans. He is very responsive to all messages and questions. I have had coaches in the same town that don’t communicate as much as Chris. I would and have highly recommend Run Fluent to all my friends.

Run Fluent made me into a runner!

Before Run Fluent, I couldn’t figure out why my race speed had seemed to plateau. Or why I would be so tired and in pain after even short runs.

But after getting a gait analysis and realizing the issues with my stride, I started learning how to run! With months of training, my running became much smoother. My heart rate used to bounce all over the place and become way too high for my pace. The Run Fluent training helped get that under control, and help me run without those issues.

After the first year of Run Fluent training, I was PRing all of my race distances. Even signed up for multiple trail 50ks, something I had never done before, and I completed all of them! Even better, because I’m running with better form, it has reduced many of the nagging pain issues I used to have!

Very thankful for the Run Fluent program. Finally, I feel like a runner!!

From OCR to Ultras

When I reached out to Chris, I considered myself a fairly decent runner and had been self-programming for some time, specifically training for OCR. In just a few months of working with Chris, I went from my longest run being a half-marathon to completing my first ever Ultramarathon (and even placing)!

I have progressed under Chris more in just a few months than I had in years of doing it myself. As a result of my gait analysis, my running form has been “optimized” to where I recover faster and there’s no post-run cramping issues like I used to have! But just as importantly, I’ve grown to love running so much that my primary focus is now Ultras.

I cannot speak highly enough of Chris as a coach and for the whole RunFluent “family” of athletes; you will not find a more supportive group! I plan on remaining for a LONG time!

What once was dreaded is now loved

I have never been a runner or someone who thought I could be a runner, for most of my life I have been what most people would consider fluffy. I was blessed enough to get involved with Ivi which led into a challenge that Chris had put together, I was first skeptical of what I had gotten myself into but within the first week of trusting the process and following his direction I became hooked. I now look forward to my runs, they are my way of getting some time to just escape and enjoy piece and quite. In just 3 months I clocked my fastest 5k ever, in just 4 months ran a sub 2 hour half marathon and in just 6 months have completed a sub 4 hour full marathon. I have completed more in 6 months than I ever did in the first 52 years of my life. If you are on the fence about needing a run coach, let me assure you that you do and you won’t find a better one than Coach Chris. #dontjustrun #trusttheprocess.

Fun!!

I’m Madison and I’m 9 years old. I always have loved running but having Mr. Chris’ workouts has made me a much better runner! I love running but now I love it more! He programs runs for me that are perfect for my age and easy to understand! If I have any questions he is easy to reach! And if you have trouble with a run he will tell me what I need to fix! Year later

I have just past my year mark with RunFluent and the journey has been amazing. Chris has adapted my training a few times since I started as my goals changed. Chris’ knowledge of specificity training is important to be able to reach your goal. Each program is individualized to your needs. I have made major improvements in all distances thanks to Chris. A program for everyone!

Being an older athlete I was skeptical that a running coach could make much of a difference in my times. I was getting bored and slower as the race season was progressing. Finally I contacted Chris and joined RunFluent. Chris is a great coach who tailors a running program to your ability and your goals. I have not ran this fast in 30 years. Because of the gait analysis, Chris was able to correct my form. This has resulted in less injuries and enjoying running again. At the age of 53 I am running better than I ran at 23. I recommend this program to anyone who wants to improve their fitness.

Game Changing Insight

For as long as I can remember I’ve regarded running much like walking, just another hardwired reflexive motor skill that doesn’t require any particular nuance or skill to perform. I was certain that you were either born a world class runner or you weren’t. There was nothing more to do. I went into my initial Gait Analysis with RunFluent expecting confirmation of this theory with only the hope of adjusting my running style to prevent potential injury. I was certain I had already achieved my maximum performance level and that there was no room for improvement. Turns out I was wrong.

In a little under an hour Coach Chris made some expert observations and was able to provide me with a number of techniques that revolutionized my running style! I left his session and after only 3 weeks of practicing saw my 5k time improve by a minute and half and an overall pace improvement of 30 plus second! Even better I was able to increase my run stamina and have recently added 10 and 12 miles to my maximum distance list, a feat for which I would have sworn was impossible.

In the weeks that followed Chris continued to provide me with pointers, technique tweaks, stretching and injury prevention advise but even more importantly, support and encouragement. RunFluent isn’t just a “one-off” running clinic but a partner who is fully vested in my success and committed to keeping me RunningFluent!

Learned to love running

I do not typically write reviews unless I truly think that something deserves it (Like superior customer service, quality etc. and RunFluent hit all the marks. I have been working with Chris for the last 6 months and was hesitant at first but was exactly what i was looking for. I have been playing lacrosse for years and about 3 1/2 years ago got into OCR. Last year was the first year I ran competitively but always ha issues cramping and always had tight hamstrings. I decided I wanted to go to the next level but with full time work, wife and 3 kids and tight budget I wanted to find an online program that is affordable. I was referred to Chris by fellow teammates so I figured what the heck. One of the best decisions I made! After a GAIT analysis and discussions of goals, where I’m at already training, and scheduling I was off and running. No matter what you do its never a quick process to change bad habits but within a month the constant hamstring pain has gone away. I’ve increased my distance and time dramatically and learned to love running rather than just another exercise. I highly recommend RunFfluent. You will not be disappointed.

A community that welcomes you and a coach that caters to goals

RunFluent is a welcoming community of runners ran by Coach Stangle who truly does care about his clients at a very affordable price. I have noticed major improvements in my running abilities as coach simply will look at you running and already knows how to correct the issue. The man has a wealth of knowledge that will benefit you greatly, but you need to follow his plan and be proactive in the exercise plans he provides you.

I’m not an elite runner or planning on running competitively against the top dogs in the sports. I’m just here to improve my running and be part of a group that supports one another. Trust me, it’s worth every penny to be part of RunFluent!

Proven Results

I reached out to Chris around the New Year with a goal I had in mind for 2019. My hope was to become a more efficient runner and experience less injuries than I have been recently. After a gait analysis, which was completed through video at my request due to residing across the state, Chris was able to recognize my issue immediately. What he observed right away was exactly what I had been dealing with; which was tight hips and tightness in my lower posterior chain. Chris followed this up with a stretching and flexibility building routine. He then communicated with me every few days to check my progress and provide advice. It’s been 8 weeks since I first contacted RunFluent and I just set a new personal record 5k time. My hips were feeling great and I was running comfortably without the tightness. If you want to take your running to the next level and prevent injury you need to run fluently.

Game changer!

As an athlete I’m always looking for ways to improve my performance and get an edge over my competition. I had thought I was a pretty decent runner but wasn’t sure how to bring my running up to the next level. When Chris did my gait analysis it became pretty apparent that I had been running with improper form and had a lot of room for improvement! I had no idea how much help I needed with fixing something I have done a certain way my whole life. Chris helped me correct my form and has me on a personalized running plan which has made a huge improvement in every aspect of my running! Challenge Yourself!!

I have been a competitive swimmer for the majority of my life. Running has always been something I have done as part of dry land workouts. For the last three years, I have been slowly getting into OCR’s and endurance events, which all revolve around running of some sort. Like swimming, running is all about the correct form. Whether it is correcting my running form/ technique, helping me recovery after a long event, programming my weeks and/ or, giving me tips on my endurance events, he always delivers 100%. I have had nothing but great experiences/ interactions with Chris and his company. I would recommend them to experienced runners to beginners like myself! Challenge yourself and give RunFluent a go!

Chris is an amazing coach! I contacted him last year when I was having IT band issues. Me being a beginner was frustrating but Chris made it fun and easy to understand that it was all in my hips. He gave me some exercises and tips to correct it and work up to more mileage.

Difference Maker

I joined RunFluent so I can become above average. Since I have linked up with Chris, I am running more mileage and my body is feeling better (less pain) . I had knee issues that Chris resolved with his GAIT analysis. His programs are specific to his clients goals. His programming is progressive which you should look for in a great training regimen. I highly recommend Chris to be your coach. He is prompt with responses to your questions you may have. Chris is a no brainer… Don’t just run, RunFluent!

Form first

I’ve known Chris for years and he has helped me know understand there is more to running than just taking off and going as far as you can or until you run out of energy. He has taught me a slower approach concentrating on form first and letting the speed progress in time with proper form. I used to run as fast as I could as far as I could and be in pain the following day. Knee pain, hip pain, back pain, you name it. Last month I ran over 200 miles with minimal pain and very few rest days all because I was concentrating on form and I”m 41 years old. Fact is running is a science and Chris is the top scientist in the game hands down.

Runfluent

I would HIGHLY recommend Chris as a run coach! I was hurt in a event last April race and contacted him about what I should do training and completing with a chipped bone in my ankle. I wasn’t being trained by him at the time but he instructed me on what he would do and checked on my progress several times.
